Laguna Hills, CA (PRWEB) February 6, 2007 – Allied Schools recently had its DETC accreditation renewed for another four years keeping its distinction as the largest nationally-accredited distance education school that provides career training and high school instruction to students.
A site visit was conducted at Allied Schools to determine if it was eligible for a renewal of its national accreditation. After a thorough review of the facility, staff, course materials, practices, and procedures, Allied was granted full accreditation by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) for another four-year period.
“Accreditation is key to providing our students with a quality distance learning experience,” said George Achenbach, CEO of Allied Schools. “It assures them that our school meets specific requirements and is held to a higher level of standards.”
The Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) identifies and accredits distance education and training institutions that have attained and maintained high-quality standards of operation. The Accrediting Commission of the DETC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally-recognized accrediting agency. Currently, there are 87 institutions across the U.S. accredited by the Accrediting Commission.
